Dr. George W. Wharton
Dr. Wharton specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and injuries
of the spine.
Dr. Wharton is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery
and a Charter Diplomate of the American Board of Spine Surgery. He is a Clinical Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at U.T.
Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He completed a spine fellowship at Rancho Los Amigos Hospital in Downey, California,
following a four-year residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore. Dr. Wharton completed
a surgical internship at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut.
Dr. Wharton continues to be active as a teacher
on spine-related topics for physicians, therapists, nurses, and other interested professionals.
