Dr Wharton and our Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery Practice

Our Practice

Who We Are

Advanced Microsurgery of the Spine specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the spine. Dr. George Wharton, Dallas Spine Surgeon, and his staff are expertly trained in the latest technologies for minimally invasive spine surgery, including lumbar fusion, cervical fusion, disc replacement surgery, microdecompression, microdiscectomy, and kyphoplasty.

Most people will experience neck or back pain or radiating leg or arm pain at some point in their lives. Backaches can range from a dull, constant pain to a sudden, sharp debilitating pain. Back pain, neck pain, or extremity pain can develop slowly or may appear suddenly as a result of an accident or fall. Often, non-surgical back treatments can provide relief, but this is not always the case. Radiating pain may be caused by disk herniations or arthritic bone spurs or other serious conditions.
